Mitch Robinson was on fire this weekend, hitting .466 as the Thunderbirds went 3-1 in their home opening series against the Corban Warriors. Robinson was 7-of-15 at the plate, including two doubles, a triple, five runs batted in, two runs scored, drew a pair of walks and was perfect on two stolen base attempts. The 3rd-year also started two double plays for the 'Birds on the defensive end.
