Playing through injury the stalwart defender on the number one ranked UBC women’s hockey team recorded two assists in the T-Birds sweep of the Regina Cougars over the weekend, including a great pass to set up the winning goal in Saturday’s 3-1 victory for the ‘Blue and Gold’. Ranahan is plus seven in 2016-17 and is third on the Thunderbirds defence with 12 points.
