Sarah Korpach (White Rock, B.C.) was electric during the UBC Open over the weekend, particularly on the second day.
 
The third-year Thunderbird track standout finished atop the women’s 400m hurdles competition, coming in at 1:03:02. Korpach also ran the third leg of the women’s 4 x 800m, as the UBC foursome qualified for NAIA finals with a time of 9:13:97, 10 seconds clear of the A Standard time needed to earn a berth at nationals.
 
Earlier in the two-day event, Korpach also earned third place in the 800m run, finishing in 2:14:86.
