MUSCLE MLK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Jordan Jensen-Whyte was a consistent factor in the Thunderbirds’ 2-0 in Manitoba, as the 6-foot-6 combo guard helped lead the Blue and Gold to a sweep of the Brandon Bobcats.
Â
In the weekend’s first contest, an 85-67 win, Jensen-Whyte showed his proficiency as a marksman, hitting 5-of-6 from the field, nailing his only attempt from long range. The guard finished the contest with 17 points, eight rebounds, and five assists in the all-around showing.
Â
The next night out, in Saturday’s 84-68 win, Jensen-Whyte’s slashing and athletic ability forced Brandon to take liberties, and the Calgarian made it to the line 12 times in the contest, of which he made 11. Jensen-Whyte’s overall stat line was impressive, as he totalled 14 points and 10 boards for a double-double, adding five assists for good measure.
