A History of Thunderbird Dominance
The UBC Thunderbirds have more National Championship wins than any other varsity program in Canada with over 125 U SPORTS National Championships and over 240 athletes that have competed as Olympians. The Thunderbirds women's rugby program has established itself as a dominant force, winning both the rugby 15s and rugby 7s championships in 2024-25. UBC Thunderbirds Women’s Rugby is looking for:
- Individuals who are highly motivated towards excelling in both education and rugby
- Individuals who have a strong understanding of the game, combined with core skills and physical fitness
- Individuals who are motivated to contribute to the success of a community-focused program, be a part of our future, and build on our legacy
