Academic Support

UBC Faculty Academic Advisors are available to guide throughout your degree. From choosing the right courses, selecting your major / minor, to applying for graduation, academic advisors are an amazing and knowledgeable resource. Many faculties also have advisors who specialize in working with UBC student athletes, just ask for them!

Financial Support

Academic scholarships are available for students who have achieved high academic standards prior to enrollment at UBC. In addition, bursary, loan and work study programs are also available to students who demonstrate financial need as assessed by the provincial and federal student loan programs.

UBC Athletic Awards: The UBC Athletic Department has the largest endowment for athletic awards of any university in Canada. Awards range from general department endowments that are available to all student athletes, to sport-specific endowments. All scholarships are awarded at the discretion of the respective head coaches.
