UBC Thunderbirds player Conor Lillis-White has been named the Red Lion Baseball Pitcher of the Week for the NAIA West league.
Lillis-White, a junior from Toronto, threw a complete-game, five-hitter to lead his UBC Thunderbirds to a 5-0 victory over the Menlo Oaks on Saturday, March 29 in Vancouver. The junior was dominant against Menlo, striking out eight batters while walking one, in lowering his earned run average to 0.66, third best in the NAIA. Lillis-White improved to 5-0 on the season.
He also made a relief appearance on Wednesday, March 26 at Thompson Rivers.
UBC (22-6) will play four league games this weekend at the College of Idaho in Caldwell.
