Biography

Katie joins the Thunderbirds after playing professional in the Swiss A Women’s Hockey League last season for the Zurich Lions.

Prior to playing in Switzerland, Katie, a goaltender, played four seasons at St. Francis Xavier University, compiling a career record of 33-8-0. Twice she helped the X-Women to an Atlantic University Sport Conference Championship in 2011 and 2013.

The X-Women finished second at the CIS Nationals in 2011, losing in the final to McGill and third in 2013.

Katie is enrolled in the masters program in the School of Kinesiology.
