Biography

A transfer from NCAA Div. I Cornell University, Kelly is set for her first season with the Thunderbirds.

In two years at the ivy league institution, the Medicine Hat, AB native played in 37 games, scoring one goal and chipping in with 12 assists.

She played two years for Team Alberta U18 winning a gold medal at the Canada Winter Games.

Kelly has attended some elite hockey schools throughout her career: The Pursuit of Excellence in Kelowna, Shattuck St. Mary’s in Fairbault, Minn., and the Edge school of Athletes in Calgary.

Enrolled in the Faculty of Arts, Kelly is an english major. She hopes to one day become a writer or a teacher.

Kelly’s favourite player is Los Angeles Kings defenceman Drew Doughty and her favourite NHL team is the Detroit Red Wings.
