VANCOUVER – The UBC women's hockey team got their first taste of live action Friday and Saturday with back-to-back games against the Pacific Steelers. The T-Birds took a while to find their legs in both games according to Head Coach
Graham Thomas, but were able to get rolling and secure 4-1 and 5-1 victories.

Â
University of New Hampshire transfer Cassandra Vilgrain is wasting no time becoming an offensive force on UBC's forward lines this season. Vilgrain scored three goals over the two games and seems to have found instant chemistry with third year T-Bird forward
Logan Boyd, who drew assists on two of Vilgrain's goals.

Â
Second year forward
Hannah Clayton-Carroll opened the scoring in both games for the 'Birds. For the Steelers, U-18 Team Canada phenom Amy Potomak had a goal and an assist over the two games.
