Second-year forward Conor Morgan led the UBC Thunderbirds men's basketball team in scoring in both weekend wins over the visiting Brandon Bobcats.
 
The Victoria, B.C., native recorded 16 points, nine rebounds and three blocks in a 97-82 victory on Friday night.
 
The next night, he scored 22 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the field to help the Thunderbirds to a 107-76 triumph. Morgan also added five assists. The visiting Bobcats held a five-point lead early in the second quarter until Morgan scored seven straight points, on back-to-back three-point baskets with a foul shot in between, to give UBC the lead and the momentum.
 
The Thunderbirds extended their winning streak to six games and improved to 7-5 in Canada West play. UBC visits Trinity Western in Langley, B.C., this weekend.
