UBC quarterback Greg Bowcott was responsible for 334 yards of total offence, throwing for two touchdowns and running for another two touchdowns in the Thunderbirds 60-0 victory over the Alberta Golden Bears.

The third-year pivot from Abbotsford, BC completed 77% of his passes, finishing the day 20-26 for 262 yards and two touchdown passes with zero interceptions. He also ran for 72 yards on nine carries, scoring two more touchdowns on the ground.

In his first season at UBC, Bowcott has thrown for 604 yards and six touchdowns this year and is the Thunderbirds second leading rusher with 276 yards and six touchdowns.

With the victory, the Thunderbirds improved to 4-3 on the season and will wrap up the 2013 Canada West regular season in Calgary Friday October 26 against the Dinos.Â
