MUSCLE MLK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

The first-year player from Victoria, BC led the UBC Thunderbirds with 253 all-purpose yards in their 49-13 win over the Alberta Golden Bears Saturday afternoon at Thunderbird Stadium.
 
The former two-time BC ‘AAA’ High School Football Player of the Year was a threat every time he touched the ball. He returned six punts for 158 yards, including a 98-yard return to set up UBC’s first score of the game. Davis also added a kickoff return of 16 yards.
 
On offense he caught a 43-yard touchdown reception and rushed the ball four times for 36 yards and touchdown.
 
He is third in the Canada West in all-purpose yards, averaging 147.8 yards per game.
 
Next up, UBC will be in Saskatchewan on Saturday, October 4 to take on the Huskies.
