The UBC Thunderbirds ground game was dominant on Saturday, October 3, and fifth-year tailback Brandon Deschamps led the charge, racking up 86 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries. The Prince George native also picked up an additional 43 yards through the air, making five receptions. Deschamps was the focal point of a ground game that gashed Alberta for a total of 278 yards en route to a 39-21 win.
