Biography

2008-09: Won the CIS Thérèse Quigley Award as Canada’s most outstanding student-athlete in women’s volleyball…started all 27 matches, playing in all 100 games…was fifth in the conference play with 9.55 assists per game…had eight games with 40+ set assists…had a season and career-high 55 set assists in the CIS Championship game vs. Calgary (Feb. 28, 2009)…named player of the match in the CIS Championship game...ranked fourth on the squad with 2.20 digs per game…totaled 43 blocks placing her fifth on the team…ranked first on the team with 26 aces.

Other: Spent two seasons with the Junior National Team before coming to UBC...winner of the prestigious Jack Farley Youth in Sport Achievement Award...received UBC’s President’s Entrance Scholarship...won the U20 Canadian Beach Championships in 2006 with current T-Bird Liz Cordonier...four-time Academic All-Canadian.

Family: Both her parents are Rhodes Scholars and attended Oxford...father, Boris, was a setter at the University of Manitoba and former National Team member.
