Brian Moylett grew up in Ballina, Co Mayo, Ireland and began playing rugby at a young age. While in high school he was a part of the Leinster Rugby and Irish schoolboy squads and then went on to play for the Irish U19 team, captain Connacht Rugby's U20 side and win two senior All Ireland League D1A titles with Lansdowne FC.

In 2016 Brian moved to St. Charles, Missouri to coach the Lindenwood University Men's rugby team and pursue a Master of Business Administration. While in Missouri he also coached the Lindenwood Women's side and was Head Coach of the St. Louis Royals who won the 2017 USA D3 National Championship.

Since moving to Vancouver in May 2018, Brian has played rugby with the UBC Old Boys Ravens, winning the 2018 Canadian club championship, the 2019 BC Men's Premier League and was named on the team of the season for both competitions. He represented BC Rugby against Rugby Canada in a 2019 Rugby World Cup warm up match, and since January 2020 has been Backs and Attack coach with the UBC Women's rugby team.Â
