Sheila is another former standout Thunderbird back to coach at her alma mater. The Bachelor of Human Kinetics grad played with UBC from 2000-2005, leading the Thunderbirds to their first national title under head coach Deb Huban in 2004.

During her career with the 'Birds she was a two time Canada West All-Star, a Second Team All-Canadian in 2004-05, and a CIS Championship All-Star in 2004.

She went on to play professionally in Australia, Germany, and the Czech Repbulic, as well as represented Canada on the national team from 2004-07.

Sheila is married to former UBC football player Jesse Tupper and together then own and operate Prime Strength and Conditioning in Vancouver.
