As a UBC Thunderbirds student-athlete, you were part of making the University of British Columbia the winningest university athletic program in Canada. We have celebrated over 100 years of athletic excellence and our alumni have made incredible contributions both on and off the court.
While the majority of our alumni can be found in the Greater Vancouver area, there is a vast network of Thunderbirds living and working around the world. As alumni, we are committed to keeping you engaged with the UBC Basketball program. Whether it is connecting you with your former teammates, attending a game at the War Memorial Gymnasium or just showing your Thunderbird pride, we are here to help.
The strength of any alumni group is dependent on the enthusiasm of its members—you! We invite your participation in the future of UBC Varsity Athletics and there are a number of ways to get and stay involved.
- Attend a game and show your school pride at our annual Courtside Event every fall.
- Serve on a Sport Advisory Council.
- Support the team.
