    Assistant Coach (m)
Andrew Knorr began his rowing and coaching career in Saskatoon, Sask., where he rowed as a junior for the provincial team and competed for Canada at two Junior World Championships. After high school, Knorr traveled to Vancouver to row for the Thunderbirds and begin his B.A. at UBC. He made his first varsity boat as a rookie in 2007 and continued to row varsity through all five years of his university eligibility. During his time with UBC, Knorr won medals at multiple Canadian University Championships, won two Brown Cups and was part of the crew that won the American Specialty Health Cal Cup at the 2011 San Diego Crew Classic.

During the entirety of his undergrad, Knorr coached and helped to develop the Thunderbird Rowing Club, a competitive junior program that also rows out of the John M.S. Lecky UBC Boathouse. He was also involved with Rowing BC, volunteering as the Zone 5 coach for the BC Summer Games held in Surrey in 2012. In the 2012-13 season, Knorr, along with the help of fellow alumni, Ben Dove, returned during his B.Ed. to volunteer coach the UBC novice men's program.

As an RCA certified coach, Knorr is now continuing his coaching development by beginning his Masters in Kinesiology in Coaching Science at UBC.
