Biography
Overview: Expected to be one of the team’s leaders this season...exceptional shooter who has steadily improved his overall game since coming to UBC...great work ethic on the floor...in the best shape of his career after a full summer of work with a personal trainer...looks to translate that strength and conditioning into a more complete game at both ends of the floor.
2008-09: Played in all 23 conference games, starting 10 and averaging 20.2 minutes per game…finished second on the team with a three-point percentage of 38.5% in conference play...finished second on the team with a free throw percentage of 82.9%in conference play...ranked third on the team in conference scoring with 11.3 points per game…notched a season-high 25 points vs. Manitoba (Jan. 17, 2009) and tallied a season-high six three-pointers in that same game…led the team in scoring six times…had a season-high five steals vs. Lethbridge (Jan. 30, 2009)…injured his foot in the Canada West Championship, forcing him to miss the opening game of the 2009 CIS Championship Final 8.
2007-08: Appeared in 20 games and made three starts during his first season with the Thunderbirds...finished sixth on the team in scoring with 8.7 points per game...scored a season-high 26 points in UBC’s overtime victory over SFU (Jan. 8, 2008)...led the team in scoring four times.
Before UBC: Came to UBC from Grant MacEwan College where he led his team in scoring and rebounding while finishing second in assists en route to first-team ACAC all-star status…Also spent one season at Brandon University.
Personal: Wants to play professionally in Europe after his CIS career.
