The UBC Thunderbirds Women’s Volleyball program has been dominant throughout the last 20 years with more U SPORTS National Championship appearances and medals than any other school in the country. The Thunderbirds won an unprecedented six straight national titles from 2008 to 2013. UBC Women's Volleyball's accolades are as follows:

• 14 U SPORTS National Championships: 1973-74, '77-78, '08-13, '17, '19, '23-24
• 16 Canada West Championships: 1961, '63, '65, '73-74, '76-78, '98-99, '06, '09-11, '13-14 (titles won before 1973 were as part of the WCIAA)
• 6 U SPORTS MVP awards, 1 U SPORTS Libero of the Year award, 1 U SPORTS Rookie of the Year award, 5 U SPORTS Coach of the Year awards
• 8 Canada West MVP awards, 4 Canada West Libero of the Year awards, 1 Canada West Rookie of the Year award, 6 Canada West Coach of the Year awards
• 7 Canada West first team All-Stars, 10 Canada West second team All-Stars, 5 Canada West All-Rookies in the last 10 years
