The history of excellence of the UBC Thunderbirds Women’s Basketball team includes 6 National Championships and 8 Canada West Championships. Other accolades include:
  • 13 U SPORTS All-Canadian selections since 1999
  • 2 U SPORTS Defensive Players of the Year
  • 2 U SPORTS Rookies of the Year 
  • 4 Canada West MVP awards
  • 37 Canada West All-Star selections since 1999
  • 43 Academic All-Canadian awards in the last 10 years
  • Over 20 athletes have represented Canada internationally, including 5 Olympians
