The University of British Columbia Athletics

The UBC Thunderbirds Men’s Basketball program has won 21 conference championships and five national championships in its storied history. They have a tradition of excellence when it comes to recognition of their team and athletes:

• 10 Canada West MVP awards and 4 U SPORTS MVP awards all-time
• 9 Canada West first team All-Stars, 4 second team All-Stars, 4 third team All-Stars, and 6 All-Rookies in the last 10 years
• 2 first team All-Canadian, 2 second team All-Canadian and 1 All-Rookie selection in the last 10 years
• Two members of the 2017-2018 Thunderbirds team won silver with Team Canada at 2018 Commonwealth Games
