Biography

Fifth year (2011-2012): Started 31 of 31 games in her firth season with the T-Birds, Vieweg averaged 26.7 mpg, shooting .527 from the floor, .404 from the 3 point line and .810 from the free throw line. Vieweg showed off her all-round game finishing the year averaging 12.1 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 2.0 apg and 2.1 spg.

 

Fourth Year (2010-2011): Started 23 of 24 games averaging a career high 27.8 mpg, shooting .520 from the floor while posting 12.5 ppg and 6.7 rpg.

 

Third Year (2009-10): Enjoyed a career year appearing in all 21 games making 20 starts and averaging a career-best 26.4 minutes per game. Ranked eighth in the Canada West and led the Thunderbirds in shooting percentage hitting 52.9% of her shots in conference play. Placed third on the team in scoring average with a career-high 12.6 pints per game. Led the T-Birds in scoring seven times. Scored season-high 21 points twice at Calgary (Jan. 23, 2010) and vs. Victoria (Feb. 5, 2010). Scored in double figures 14 times. Ranked second on the team in rebounding with a career-best 6.0 rebounds per game. Pulled down a career-high 10 rebounds twice at Winnipeg (Nov. 27, 2009) and at Calgary (Jan. 23, 2010) en route to two double-doubles. Led the team in rebounds seven times. Placed second on the team with career-bests in steals (46) and steals per game (2.2). Led the team in steals six times. Gathered a season-high six steals twice vs. Trinity Western (Oct. 20, 2009) and  at Simon Fraser (Nov. 7, 2009). Was second on the team in blocks with 19. Collected a team-high five blocks vs. Victoria (Feb. 5, 2010). Led the team in blocks six times. Ranked fourth on the team in assists with 1.8 per game. Had a season-high four assists vs. Simon Fraser (Jan. 20, 2010).

 

Second Year (2008-09): Appeared in all 23 conference games making 15 starts. Finished 27th in the Canada West and third on the team in scoring (9.3 ppg). Led the T-Birds in scoring six times. Scored a career-high 25 points at Victoria (Nov. 7, 2008). Placed sixth in the conference and first on the team in field goal percentage (47.2%). Finished fourth on the team in free throw percentage (66.0%). Ranked third on the team in rebounding (3.5 rpg). Placed third on the team in steals (34). Led the team in steals six times.

 

First Year (2007-2008): Appeared in 23 games to the tune of 13.1 mpg. Shot an impressive .547 from the floor and .844 from the free throw line while averaging 6.2 ppg and 2.7 rpg.

 

Personal:
Graduate of Argyle Secondary (North Vancouver, BC). Averaged a double double in her senior year at high school. 2005 second-team AAA Championship All-Star...member of the Centre for Performance and 3D Basketball Academy Elite teams. Sister, Erika, is in her third season with the T-Birds.
