Biography

2009-10: Named a CIS second team All-Canadian and a Canada West first team all-star for the second consecutive year after finishing third in the Canada West with a career-high 0.40 aces per game and placing sixth in blocks with a career-high 1.07 per game conference play...finished second on the Thunderbirds with 2.65 kills per game and 3.54 points per game...started in all 25 matches and appeared in 86 games...had a season-high 16 kills twice at Alberta (Feb. 5, 2010) and vs. Regina in the Canada West semifinal (Feb. 26, 2010)...had 10 double-figure kills matches and was the team leader in kills three times...finished second on the team in total blocks with 84 ...led the team in blocks six times...recorded a season-high seven blocks on three occasions...tied for the team lead with 30 aces and posted a career-high four aces vs. Calgary (Jan. 22, 2010)...posted a season-high 11 digs twice at Regina (Jan. 9, 2010) and in the CIS semifinal vs. Laval (Mar. 6, 2010).

2008-09: Led the Thunderbirds with 279 kills and finished fifth in 2008-09 Canada West conference play with 3.17 kills per game and fourth in points with 3.77…named the 2009 CIS Championship MVP and CIS Championship all-star...played in all 27 matches and 93 games, making 25 starts during the season…had a team and career-high 26 kills vs. Trinity Western (Nov. 29, 2008)…reached double figures in kills 14 times, which led the squad, and was the team leader in kills 13 times…third on the team in total blocks (82) and blocks per game (0.88) recording a career-high eight blocks vs. Manitoba (Jan. 24, 2009)…finished fourth on the team with 20 aces…notched a career-high 15 digs vs. Moncton (Feb. 26, 2009).

Other: Member of Team Canada, competed at the 2009 FISU Games in Belgrade, Serbia...spent two seasons with the Junior National team before joining UBC...competed at the 2007 NORCECA Continental Women’s Junior (U20) Championship.

Family: Her mother, Jan, was a member of the UBC volleyball team that won the 1978 CIS Championship.
