In game four of the Canada West field hockey tournament at Wright Field, the UBC Thunderbirds took down the Calgary Dinos 3-0 to improve their record to 4-3 with just one game remaining in the regular season.


 
UBC's Alix Vanry opened the scoring in the 7^th minute before first-year T-Bird Mikayla Stelling scored her second goal of the day in the first half. Liz Mathisen scored the 'Birds third and final goal of the game in the 45^th minute, while Hannah Rumble earned the shutout.

The Thunderbirds will wrap up their season on Sunday, October 24^th at 4:00 p.m. (PST) against the University of Victoria Vikes – who have clinched the conference title for the third consecutive season along with a berth in the U SPORTS National Championships.
