'Birds fall to Wolf Pack in Costa Rica for second consecutive night

SAN JOSE, Costa Rica – The UBC Thunderbirds concluded their three-game trip in Costa Rica with a 107-57 loss to the NCAA's Nevada Wolf Pack on Sunday night.
 
The 'Birds ran into a tough Wolf Pack side who jumped out to leads of 19-10 after the first quarter and 46-31 at halftime.

UBC was led by a trio of freshman, as Anthony McNish, Mason Bourcier, and Grant Shephard all had nine points apiece.
 
Jordan Caroline led the Wolf Pack with 15 points and four rebounds.

UBC was without star forward Conor Morgan and head coach Kevin Hanson, who are both with Team Canada at the 2017 Summer Universiade in Taipei, Taiwan.
