Thunderbirds fall short in bronze medal game versus Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE, Alta. – The UBC Thunderbirds women's rugby season came to a close Sunday morning in Lethbridge, Alta., as the Thunderbirds fell 33-22 to the Pronghorns in the Canada West bronze medal game.

Gillian Boag, Gabrielle Hindley, Catherine Ohler, and Mackenzie Lee scored tries for UBC.

The Thunderbirds finish 1-5 in head coach Maria Gallo's inaugural season at the helm.
