At the Oxy Invite in Los Angeles over the weekend, 3rd-year Arts student John Gay ran a blistering 8:43.20 in the 3000-metre steeplechase, the fastest time in the NAIA this year. He will look to defend his 2016 championship in Alabama for the NAIA Championships May 25-27.
