In the midst of a slew of injuries, the captain of the UBC Thunderbirds women's hockey team stepped up in a big way by scoring a power play goal and adding an assist to lead the 'Birds to a 3-0 victory over the Lethbridge Pronghorns. The fifth-year science student has scored four of her five goals on the powerplay for the number one team in the nation.
