Madelyn Brunt, a junior from Victoria, British Columbia, finished the University of Washington's Sundodger Invitational as the Thunderbird's top runner in 17th place. Her time of 21:52.70 in the six-kilometer event and helped push her squad to a fifth place finish at the Invitational.
