UBC women’s hockey star Mathea Fischer led her home country of Norway to three straight wins at the Women’s Olympic Qualifying Preliminary Round in December. Norway will now play in the final qualifying tournament in February for a chance to go to the Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Fischer led all players with 3 goals and 3 assists in the tournament.
