UBC Thunderbirds women’s swim team standout Erika Seltenreich-Hodgson (Ottawa) cleaned up at the 2016 CIS Speedo Swimming Championships this past weekend, leading her club to a silver-medal finish.

The third-year 'Bird finished atop the medal count across all swimmers with seven, racking up five gold and two silver.
 
Seltenreich-Hodgson took individual gold medals in the 200m IM (2:12:85 – CIS Championship Record), the 200m freestyle (2:00:90), and the 400m IM 4:45:21. The UBC star also played key roles in a pair of relay wins, helping the ‘Birds to first in the 4x200m freestyle relay (8:14:45) and the 4x100m medley relay (4:10:76).
 
Seltenreich-Hodgson also claimed two silver finishes, one in the 200m backstroke (2:12:83) and one in the 4x100m freestyle relay (3:48:41).
