Hannah Haughn helped the UBC Thunderbirds to their fifth straight CIS-Field Hockey Canada national championship on the weekend, winning tournament MVP honours. 

She scored two goals in four games, including the game winner in a pivotal round-robin game against Victoria.

In her team's final round-robin game, Haughn scored UBC's first goal and the team eventually got the 2-2 tie they needed to make the championship final. Haughn was named player of the game.

In the title match, the Thunderbirds were able to overcome Victoria again, this time in a shootout.

It is the second time in four years Haughn, a Canadian national team veteran from West Vancouver, has won the championship MVP prize.
