Goakeeper Olivia de Goede (Victoria, B.C.) earned the clean sheet to help No. 9 UBC to a 1-0 win at Victoria in the first Canada West league game of the season.

In front of a hometown crowd, de Goede earned the first regular season shutout of her university career, making four saves, including a diving stop on Samantha Lee in the 75th minute, to keep her former team off the scoreboard.
