VANCOUVER –
Keegan Pereira scored four goals to lead the UBC Thunderbirds to an 8-1 trouncing of the Victoria Vikes in Vancouver Men's Field Hockey League action on Saturday at Wright Field.
Taylor Curran,
Alex Gatien,
Gordon Johnston and
Andrew Kanerva all added singles to round out the scoring.
It was one of the team's strongest performances on the season.

Tristan Burgoyne, who had to make a couple of good saves early before the team took over the match."
UBC has won three straight matches and now sits in second place in Vancouver Men's Field Hockey League Premier A standings with a record of 7-4-2. Victoria falls to 3-10-1.
The Thunderbirds' next game will be Sunday at noon against Team India at Surrey's Tamanawis Park.
