Mark enters his second season as an assistant coach with the women's soccer team. A native of Downers Grove, Illinois, Mark played four years at Loyola University (2001-05). 

Following his playing career he got into coaching as the technical director and staff coach of the Greater Libertyville Soccer Association. He went to to be the Director of Soccer Operations for his alma mater and then was the Technical Director of Cantonments Football Club (Ghana). He currently holds a United States Soccer Federation 'A' licence.
