Ramin joins the T-Birds with an extensive coaching resume from the BC high school ranks. He is the director and elite coach of the 3D Basketball Academy which has seen over 70 of its athletes go on to play in the NCAA, CIS, or CCAA. In addition to his work with the academy, he has spent 10 seasons as a BC high school coach, compiling a 272-34 (.889) overall record. In 2009 and 2010, he led the Handsworth Royals senior girls to back-to-back AAA BC provincial titles and has led schools to six North Shore championships (2002-2003, 03-04, 05-06, 07-08, 08-09, 09-10) and four Lower Mainland championships (2005-2006, 07-08, 08-09, 09-10). In 2005-06 he led Sutherland to a second-place finish at the AA BC provincial championships and in 2006-07 coached them to an eighth-place result at the AAA level - both school best performances. A graduate of UBC's Human Kinetics program, he is a NCCP level three certified coach.
