Before UBC: Spent one season at Capilano University (2008-09) and two years at Bandon University (2006-08)...ranked 13th in the BCCAA with 1.47 digs per game in 2008-09...appeared in 11 games for the Brandon Bobcats (CIS) in 2007-08...member of Team Manitoba (2006)...captain of his U18 team that won a silver medal at Provincials (Manitoba).

High School: Graduate of Ecole Louis Ruel (Winnipeg)...member of Student Council...graduated with honours.
