Biography

Before UBC: Begins his first season with UBC after coming over from the University of Calgary where he was in school...played volleyball at Holy Trinity Academy in high school, helping them to their first ever spot at the Alberta provincial championships...named team MVP at Holy Trinity...played for Xtreme Volleyball Club (Okotoks, AB)...also played badminton and hockey growing up...played piano for 10 years including two years of studying musical theory.

Family: Brother, Steve, played for both the University of Calgary and UBC Thunderbirds...was named a 2008-09 All-Canadian after his fifth year, spent with the T-Birds...Steve, a Canadian national team member, is currently playing professional volleyball in Turkey after spending last season in Italy.
