Biography

High School: Graduate of Yale Secondary (Abbotsford, BC)...helped Yale to a fifth-place finish at the BC AAA High School Championships...named a second-team BC AAA all-star...captain of the Yale volleyball team in grade 11 and 12...recipient of the Team Leader Award for volleyball in 2007 and 2008...Junior Male Athlete of the Year in 2007...also played on his high school’s basketball team...won a BC AAA High School basketball championship in 2008.

Other: Starting libero on the Canadian Junior National Team that won a silver medal at the 2010 NORCECA Men's Junior Championship...member of Team BC (2007-08)...played his club volleyball with FVVC...won a silver at the 2008 U18 BC Club Championship...named a first-team all-star...won a gold medal at both the 2007 U17 Nationals and U17 BC Championship...tournament MVP of U17 Nationals...inducted into the one year Wall of Fame in the Abbotsford’s Sports Hall of Fame on April 25th, 2009.

Family: Parents attended UBC and his brother, Fraser, is currently enrolled in Human Kinetics.
