    Assistant Coach
This is Andrew's first season as a coach with the UBC Thunderbirds. A former UBC standout, he played five seasons (2003-04, 04-05, 05-06, 06-07, 07-08) under head coach Richard Schick, leading the T-Birds back to the national stage with two CIS Championship tournament appearances during his tenure.

He was  2008 nominee for the Elite Series Player of the Year, helping lead his club to the Svenska Cupen and a Grand Prix silver medal.

Before coming West, he played club for the OVA Ganaraska Wolves and was a member of Team Ontario while attending CDCI East Collegiate High School in Cobourg, Ont. Andrew’s uncle is former NHL goaltender Mike Liut.
