This will be Perugini's fourth season on the sidelines for the Thunderbirds after a standout five-year career at Trinity Western University.

The Montreal, QC native was a five-time Canada West all-star and closed his career with four straight nominations as a CIS All-Canadian.  He capped his career with the CIS MVP award in 2007 after leading the Spartans to the third of three straight Canada West titles.

Perugini holds TWU career records in assists, shots, shots on goal, games started and minutes played. He also holds TWU single-season marks for assists, overall games started with and overall minutes played

He was a member of the Canadian side that finished fourth at the 2007 World University Games in Thailand, the best-ever finish by a Canadian men’s soccer team in international competition. Current UBC head coach Mike Mosher served as an assistant with that squad.

Perugini, a Health and Kinesiology graduate, lives with his wife, Carlee, in Vancouver.
