2008-09: Played in 24 conference games during his rookie campaign…was named to the Canada West All-Freshman team…recorded 7 points – 3 goals and 4 assists – in conference play…led UBC defencemen with 3 goals…recorded 1 goal and 1 assist with the man-advantage…registered 5 points – 1 goal and 4 assists – in 5 post-season games to rank fourth in team scoring…matched his regular season power-play points total with 1 goal and 1 assist in the playoffs.

International: Represented Canada at the 2009 FISU Winter Games in Men’s Ice Hockey, winning a silver medal.

Junior: Spent five seasons (2003-08) with the Kitchener Rangers of the OHL...played in 246 regular season games, scoring eight goals and 35 assists for 43 points and registering 392 penalty minutes...appeared in 54 OHL playoff games...captained the Rangers to the 2008 Memorial Cup Final...was a +45 over his final three seasons in Kitchener and was a +14 during the 2008 playoffs.
