Biography
Wilson is coming off a another stellar season with the Thunderbirds in which he led the team in goals (18) and points (35). He finished fourth overall in scoring in the Canada West in 2013-14 and was named a Second Team Canada West All-Star.Â
Through three seasons with the Thunderbirds he is averaging a point a game, registering 65 points in 63 regular season games.
This summer he was invited to the Washington Capitals development camp. As a result of his outstanding play he was invited back to the team’s rookie camp in preparation for the 2014-15 NHL season.
A White Rock, BC native, Wilson had stops in BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan junior leagues befor joining UBC. He first played with the Flin Flon Bombers in Saskatchewan and recorded 76 points in 95 games over two seasons before heading to the Westside Warriors of the BCHL.  He scored 44 points in 60 games in his one season at Westside. In 2010-11, he joined Camrose of the AJHL and got to play in the Royal Bank Cup, which the Kodiaks hosted. Wilson had 43 points in 56 games and tallied 12 more points in 22 playoff games.
