Before UBC: Played for Calgary Elite West club and helped lead them to a silver medal at the 2010 Alberta U18 Provincial Championship and brought home gold from a US Junior Olympic event in 2009…Al Taylor award nominee...Best of the West tournament all-star.

Family: Brother, Cameron, rowed with the T-Birds junior varsity squad, and sister, Vanessa, attends UBC Okanagan.
