2009-10: Led the Thunderbirds and placed eighth in the Canada West in kills averaging 3.19 per game...appeared in 13 matches starting all 13 and played in 47 games during his first season with the Thunderbirds...ranked seventh in the conference and first on the team in points with 3.97 per game...ranked seventh in the conference and second on the team with 1.00 blocks per game...had a team and season-high 19 kills three times including a .342 hitting performance vs. Winnipeg (Oct. 24, 2009)...led the team in kills eight times...reached double figures in kills eight times...tied for the team lead with eight service aces...recorded a team and season-high six services aces vs. Calgary (Jan. 22, 2010)...placed fifth on the team with 1.13 digs per game...had a season-high 14 digs vs. Manitoba (Jan. 29, 2010).

Before UBC: Spent two seasons at Capilano University (North Vancouver, BC)...2008-09 BCCAA second-team all-star...led BCCAA and CCAA in kills (5.13/game)...finished third in the BCCAA with 29 service aces...named team MVP in 2008-09...finalist for the 2008-09 Capilano Male Athlete of the Year award...earned scholar-athlete honourable mention status at Capilano, awarded to students with a GPA between 3.00 and 3.49...ranked ninth in the BCAA with 2.98 kills per game and fifth in services aces (25) during 2007-08 season...member of Team BC (2009) that won a silver medal at the 2009 USA Open Volleyball Championship and bronze medal at 2009 Canada Summer Games (PEI).

High School: Graduate of King George Secondary (Vancouver)...Male Athlete of the Year in 2005-06 and 2006-07...MVP of men’s basketball and volleyball teams in 2006-07.

Other: Originally from Serbia...moved to Canada when he was five years old...became interested in Volleyball after Serbia (then Yugoslavia) won gold in men’s volleyball at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney.
