Before UBC: Spent two seasons (2007-08, 2008-09) at Morrisville State, playing 34 games...scored one goal and added six assists for the NCAA Division III institution.

Junior: Spent the 2006-07 season with the Castlegar Rebels of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League...scored 11 goals and tallied 14 assists in 48 games in addition to racking up 106 penalty minutes.
