Homecoming 2026 presented by Fizz Mobile features a heated battle on the field and fun for all, all day long

VANCOUVER – The Canada West Football season is in full swing which can mean only one thing – UBC Homecoming 2026 – Presented by Fizz Mobile – is upon us!

The stage is set for the biggest UBC Thunderbirds event of the entire year as the blue and gold host the Regina Rams for a key week three battle Friday, September 18 at Thunderbird Stadium.

Kickoff for the game – the crescendo itself of Homecoming – is 6:00 p.m. under the Friday night lights, but the day's events begin far earlier with a street party opening at 4:30 p.m., while the famous Trek begins the march toward the stadium from the Nest at the same time.

Fizz Mobile will be giving away a Samsung Phone at halftime, one of dozens of giveaways, games and attractions in and around the stadium grounds.

Both the BC Lions and Vancouver Whitecaps will be on scene as will lululemon, The Rec Room Granville, UBC Bookstore and many more, all with prizes and fun activations for the whole family.

A wide selection of food trucks will be offering a tasty option for any palette, keeping everyone fueled for the big game.

This year marks the first Homecoming matchup vs the Rams since 2022 but a rematch of last year's overtime thriller in Regina where the T-Birds earned a massive comeback victory to punch their ticket into the Hardy Cup playoffs.

Following last Friday's massive 43-10 home opening win over the Alberta Golden Bears, the T-Birds are energized, confident and hungry to battle the currently undefeated Rams. A win for the blue and gold would give them a share of first place in the toughest conference in the country.

With a sold out, capacity crowd of 7500 expected, Homecoming 2026 – Presented by Fizz Mobile – won't disappoint. Secure your tickets NOW for the biggest campus party of the year!
