LANGLEY, British Columbia – The UBC Thunderbirds and the Victoria Vikes remained on top the standings with each team going 3-0 to open the final tournament of the Canada West season Friday at the Willoughby Community Park Stadium in Langley, B.C. The Alberta Pandas, Lethbridge Pronghorns, and Calgary Dinos each went 1-2, while host TWU Spartans finished the day 0-3.
 
The Thunderbirds picked up an impressive 105 points on 17 tries, while only giving up a single try to Trinity Western. The Vikes had 13 tries and 83 points for, and 15 against. The Pandas had seven tries and scored 39 points, while giving up 71 points. The Pronghorns scored 45 points on seven tries while giving up 62 points. Calgary also had seven tries and 24 points, while allowing 77 points. TWU finished the day with four tries and 22 points, while giving up 88 points.
 
Leading the day's scoring were UBC's Delany Woods 27 points, (3T,6C), Victoria's Larah Wright 25 points (5T), UBC's Olivia Sarabura 15 points (3T), Victoria's Emily Findlay 15 points (3T), and TWU's Ava Van Santen 15 points (3T).
